- For a richer flavor, consider adding other ingredients like dried chili peppers or star anise to the marinade.
- To enhance the texture of the skin, you can briefly flash-fry the pig’s trotters before braising.
- Jokbal is often served with a dipping sauce made with soy sauce, vinegar, and chili peppers.
