- Cut the tofu into 3cm x 6cm x 7mm rectangles.
- Pan-fry the tofu until golden brown.
- Coat one side of each tofu piece with flour and then with the seasoned ground beef mixture.
- Dip the tofu in a mixture of flour and egg, then pan-fry until golden brown.
- Assemble the hot pot:
- Arrange the seasoned beef mixture, tofu, and watercress in a hot pot.
- Make thin strips of egg omelet and arrange them around the pot.
- Garnish with sliced red chili peppers.
- Pour the reserved beef broth into the pot and bring to a boil.
- Season with soy sauce and salt to taste.
